About the Summer Academy Program (Grades 1-7)

Summer Academy is a one-week, highly educational yet fun-filled Religious Education experience for students in grades 1-7. All sessions are in person at St. Benedict, and space is limited in each session.

The weeklong session is supplemented by attendance at a minimum of four (4) Family Days during the school year. There is also a service component: 6th graders complete 5 service hours and 7th graders complete 10 service hours.

The Summer Academy Program is offered with the understanding that the Church considers parents to be the primary educators of their children, and that faith formation is taught together with the Parish. Parents agree to model a faith life at home, attend Mass and holy days on a regular basis, and attend the required Family Days. Families should be registered parishioners at St. Benedict in order to participate.
